Ballarat Winterlude Jewellery

A couple of weeks ago I posted about paper beads I was making from the Ballarat Winterlude full page adverts in the local paper. I love the colours in the advert so thought they would make nice beads – am I super happy with the resulting colour palette? Yes I am!

I finish my paper beads with a triple coating of polythene coating so the are strong and durable – water resistant though not water proof.

If you live in Ballarat these are a great locally made gift, if you don’t live in Ballarat they are a gorgeous colour and would make an equally beautiful gift.

The bracelet (pictured below) is now available in my ETSY shop and the earrings will be as soon as I make jewellery pouches for them. I have lots of beads, so if you would like something special made, let me know!

  1. I love this jewelry! My daughter-in-law gave me a light blue/white one. I don’t know what paper was used, but it’s absolutely lovely. I’m amazed at this kind of workmanship. You rock!
