Working in the Studio – custom orders

This week, besides the usual hubbub of life, I have been making yarn bowls which I received as a custom order via my DeeDeeDeesigns Facebook page, which is great!

In case you didn’t know, DeeDeeDeesigns is my brand for tableware and jewellery.

I do take custom orders for sculpture, tableware, jewellery, mosaics and anything arty in general …. just leave me a comment on this post or shoot me an enquiry via the Contact Me link at the top of this blog.

Anyways, following is a visual timeline for the yarn bowls thus far – throwing, turning, and carving….. this custom order is for blue, so they will all be glazed blue. I always make multiples for custom orders as ceramics can be so unpredictable, so the successful remainders (feeling positive) will hit my Etsy store in the near future.

Have a great week 🙂
